OnSite® Gluten Test Kit

A simple and effective rapid test to detect gluten in products and on surfaces. Evaluated and certified as an AOAC-PTM validated method (Certificate NO. 012501).
 
By simply adjusting the dilution ratio, the OnSite® Gluten test kit can detect 5, 10, or 20 mg/kg (ppm) of gluten in foods. Surface LOD is 11µg/100 cm².
 
Everything required to test both foods and surfaces is included in the box.  Only 15-20 minutes to view results.
 
Suitable for use by all food industry professionals: manufacturers, commercial kitchens, safety auditors, etc.

OnSite® Allergen Multiplex Tree Nut

Quick and easy test for traces of tree nut protein in rinsewater and on surfaces. OnSite® Allergen Mutliplex Tree Nut simultaneously detects traces of almond, cashew, hazelnut, pecan, pistachio, walnut (and to a lesser degree, coconut).
 

 

The kit requires no equipment and provides results in under 20 minutes. Easy-to-read results assist with validation and verification of allergen cleaning protocols.

OnSite® Gluten (PA-44) is designed to detect both raw and cooked gluten from wheat, barley and rye in select foods and on surfaces. The kit uses the 2D4 antibody, which studies show has a superior ability to identify deamidated gluten (gluten that has been processed via heat or chemical processes).

It is not designed to detect hydrolyzed or fermented gluten.

*m-Gluten (PA-43) is different from OnSite® Gluten (PA-44). The m-Gluten kit is designed for facilities needing maximum gluten sensitivity. Requires some equipment.

A single extracted sample can be used with test cassettes from multiple OnSite® III Allergen test kits, provided they share the same buffer. This is true for samples extracted from food/beverage, and also for samples from environmental swabs.

All tests should be run at the same time to maintain accuracy. Contact us to determine if your allergens share a buffer and are eligible for this time-saving method.

Of course, the Multiplex Tree Nut test kit always detects multiple tree nuts.

The OnSite® Allergen Multiplex Tree Nut test can detect as little as 1-5 mg/kg (1-5 ppm) of tree nut protein in rinse water or 10μg/ 100 cm² on surfaces. Any or all of the following tree nut proteins will trigger a positive result:  almond, cashew, hazelnut, pecan, pistachio and walnut. In addition, coconut will trigger a positive result at or above a level of 50 mg/kg (ppm) of protein in rinsewater.

No equipment No equipment is needed for either the OnSite® Gluten or OnSite® Allergen Multiplex Tree Nut test kits. All swabs and solutions are included in the kits.

No equipment is required when using OnSite® III Allergen kits on ingredients or finished foods, with the exception of OnSite® III Allergen m-Gluten.

The OnSite® III Allergen Accessory Kit is required for all OnSite® III Allergen when analyzing surface samples.

All OnSite® test kits should be stored in the refrigerator for maximum shelf life and stability. A calibrated pipette and/or digital scale are suggested for maximum accuracy.

OnSite® Allergen test kits are made by Microbiologique in an ISO:9001 facility.
